Seminar: Creating a Good Statement of Work (SOW) for RFP's and RFQ's

Expected Audience: Targeted for sponsors and leaders who build statements of work (SOW) for sub-contracting elements of a project.
Description: This session presents concepts and methods for creation of crisp, clear, bounded, and executable work requests, suitable for inclusion with a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ). It includes an overview of the procurement process, with special emphasis on writing SOW's from the buyer's perspective. Separate tracks can be presented for private sector contracting, or for the State of Texas Deliverables-Based Information Technology (DBITS) contracting process.
