Business Process Reengineering

Improving your business processes is required to stay competitive in today's marketplace.
Cooper Consulting can provide an array of business process reengineering services to your organization, from streamlining business processes within a company to integration of more efficient processes between business partners (company, customers, and suppliers).
The goal of a Business Process Reengineering (BPR) project is to help you restructure your business flows so that everybody in the company serves the customer (who is at the receiving end of the company's business processes) in a more direct, efficient, and systematic way than before.
Cooper's approach generally follows these steps:
- BPR Project Preparation - identifying suitable process reengineering projects, visioning and goal-setting, change and project management, toward returning the highest possible value for the effort.
- Redesign of Processes - understanding and measuring the targeted processes, defining a customer oriented process model of the organization, preparing the information technology technical design to support the new processes, and the social design of organizational and personnel development plans for the new work environments of the people involved.
- Implementation - prototyping, training, transforming, and transitioning to the new processes and procedures, with measurement of progress and quality along the way.
In 2008 Cooper successfully delivered to Texas Fifth Wall Roofing Company a comprehensive business process-reengineering project along with a recommendation for a COTS enterprise management system and assistance with implementing the COTS system.
In 2009 Cooper was engaged by a large customer in the northeastern US serving the transportation industry to help improve their project results through consultation, assessments, recommendations, coaching, general education and specific training sessions, directed toward longer term cultural change improvements in the organization's practices.
