Business Partner IBM/AVNET
In the summer of 2008 Cooper Consulting became an IBM business partner.
Cooper participates in the IBM Software Value Incentive (SVI) program and selected AVNET as the Preffered Distributor and order fulfiller.
Software Value Incentive is focused on rewarding Business Partners who add value by identifying an opportunity and/or influencing a customer's buying decision.
As an ISV, Cooper develops and sells software assets as well as services related to IBM software offerings, and builds our business model primarily around the development and marketing of application software.
The three parties collaboration, brings to both Cooper and its customers the following Software Value Incentive benefits :
- Greater Flexibility - Business Partners can earn incentives at the stage in which they elect to contribute to the sales process. Incentives increase with level of involvement.
- Enhanced Profitability - Business Partners who add value (i.e. identify opportunities and close sales) can earn more incentive than with previous programs.
- Increased Return On Investment for Sales Time - Once Business Partners are approved for identification and selling of a registered opportunity, they can earn incentive regardless of who fulfills the purchase. This protects the time invested in selling on behalf of IBM Software Group.
- Easier Participation - Software Value Incentive replaces multiple existing Business Partner programs, reducing the difficulty of understanding and tracking each program while optimizing Business Partners' earning potential.
